As in previous editions, this year we will have the Walking Tour interpreted by guides from the Associação Geopark Estrela, aimed at all residents and those accompanying athletes participating in the 10th anniversary of Granfondo Serra da Estrela.
This walk will begin and end at Seia City Hall, departing at 9 am, shortly after the departure of Granfondo and Mediofondo participants which takes place at 8:30 am.

The Granfondo Serra da Estrela Organization, as in previous editions, will make gift kits available to all those registered for the Walk, which will be delivered to those registered by the Geopark Estrela Association guides 15 minutes before and until the start of the Walk, at the departure location – in front of Seia City Hall (those registered for the Walk will not have to go to the secretariat).
Walk interpreted by Estrela Geopark, discovering geological, biological and cultural heritage, combined with sports in a natural environment.
This will begin and end at Seia Municipal Council, crossing some of the streams on the west/northwest side of Serra da Estrela and passing through the “Cabeça da Velha” geosite, which represents the cultural appropriation of our geological heritage.
